During my trip to Roswell, Georgia my cousins and I suddenly had a ravenous craving for ice cream, naturally we mapped the highest rated aesthetic ice cream shop within 5 miles, and we came across the delightful Butter and Cream. Butter and Cream is a quaint ice cream shop in Old Roswell. The surrounding area is a cute strip of stores, restaurants and art galleries that you can spend the day enjoying. Butter and Cream has such a pretty aesthetic of reddish brown and white which is incorporated in and out of the store.
Walking up to Butter and Creme you're met with benches outside to enjoy the ice cream in Georgia's beautiful golden hour and the cutest signs promoting their handcrafted delicious flavors. The outside of Butter and Creme gives a very homey small town vibe which is both comforting and welcoming. The door is vintage and looks like a door you would see on a home, however when you walk in - the decor is super modern and sleek with creative additions, I could tell Butter and Creme takes pride in their creations. As soon as I walked in I was hit with the sweet smell of cake batter, the ambiance felt super warm and homey. The color scheme continues inside and the modernity of the decor made for an amazing experience.
Inside of Butter and Creme there is natural lighting paired with aesthetic light fixtures, customers are allowed to sample as many flavors as they desire until finding the perfect taste they desire. All around the ice cream in separate cases there are baked goods, the cookies were on little pedestals with glass coverings which made everything look sleek and clean. Everything inside was cohesive with Butter and Cremes aesthetic and truly beautiful, the ambiance made me want to relax and spend the whole day mindlessly walking around in Old Roswell.
Butter and Creme boasts original handcrafted ice cream with peculiar flavor pairings that amaze the tastebuds, such as Persian Rose, OG Goodness and Freckled Chocolate. Along with the wondrous ice cream flavors there are sorbets, sundaes, milkshakes, root beer floats, sorbet shakes and baked goods.
I sampled the Persian Rose, Honeycomb Forest and Butterscotch Brownie- just to give my tastebuds a whirl wind experience- of course. Persian Rose is delicious and truly tastes like sweet roses, Honeycomb Forest tastes amazingly like honey and vanilla which is an amazingly subtle flavor, Butterscotch Brownie tasted like my two favorite things, Butterscotch candies and Brownies so naturally my tastebuds were happy. I ended up getting the Honeycomb Forest and the Butterscotch Brownie in a cup, I also tried some of my cousins cookie and it was super soft!
Sitting outside and eating the ice cream in the evening sunlight was the best part of the experience, my cousins and I enjoyed the aesthetic ambiance and the delicious ice cream together while bonding. Honestly visiting Butter and Creme made me want to move to Georgia to have the option of visiting Butter and Creme more often to see what new revolutionary flavors they have next.
I highly recommend Butter and Creme for an amazing ice cream, baked goods and an aesthetic experience.
